Sen. Gordon Declares Trillanes Out of Order after Calling "Committee de Absuelto" the Blue Ribbon (Video)

One of the most prominent lawmaker in the Philippines, Sen. Richard Gordon declares Sen. Antonio Trillanes as "Out of Order" during the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee on August 31, 2017, after Sen. Trillanes calls the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee as a "Committee de Absuelto."

Sen. Dick Gordon to file an ethics case against Sen. Trillanes, for calling the Blue Ribbon Committee headed by Sen. Lacson as "Committee de Absuelto."

Before the decision of Sen. Gordon to declared Sen. Trillanes as out of order, the former mutineer-turned lawmaker accused the committee of badgering the witnesses.

Sen. Gordon answered Sen. Trillanes by saying that the senator is always so fond of making a general statement and Gordon even noted that if Trillanes will make a general statement he should proved it because they're inside the Senate of the Republic of the Philippines and not a cockpit of tsismis as he noted that they are investigating real things.
