Netizens took to social media and lambasts Vice President Leni Robredo for urging Filipinos to "express outrage" over the 24-hour police operation that killed 32 drug suspects in Bulacan province.
In an interview with the media, VP Leni was quoted as saying "Ito [ay] isang bagay na kailangan mag-express tayo ng outrage. Hindi naman tayo ganyan eh. Hindi tayo ito," Robredo said in a chance interview.
VP Leni added further that "Yung Yung culture of impunity, matagal na nating isinikwal. Sana hindi na natin papayagang makabalik pa." (This is something we need to be outraged about. We are not like that. This is not us. We have long condemned the culture of impunity. Let us not allow it to return.)
As an answer to VP Leni's statement, veteran soldier who is also a known supporter of Pres. Duterte on social media, Sir Abe Purugganan asked the Vice President not to undermine President Duterte. He was quoted as saying "Madame, You Should Not Undermine The President." "As a president-in-waiting, you should hold your peace and allow President Duterte to do his job."
Aside from Sir Abe Purugganan, RG San Luis, another Pro-Duterte blogger also shared his views with the statement of VP Leni by saying "Finally the Vice-President speaks. Of course it is against the administration again. It's back to the drug war for the good VP."
