The National Bureau of Investigation conducted some documentations on the properties of Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog today, August 31, 2017. The documentation of Mayor Mabilog's properties by the NBI Regional Office 6 and the NBI Central Office in Manila was conducted upon the order of Pres. Duterte.

NBI's documentation was headed by Atty. Arnold Diaz and John Katipunan, NBI Special Investigators. Mayor Jed Mabilog was not present during the documentation but he was represented by LEEO Head Ariel Castañeda.
During the documentation, Mayor Jed Mabilog's brother, JV Mabilog answered some questions from the media.
According to the brother of Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, he was saddened by the recent controversies involving his brother and their families who were accused of being a narco-politicians in Iloilo City.
The NBI failed to enter the house of Mayor Mabilog which was dubbed by some media outlets as the White House Mansion but they were able to conduct some documentation in a number of vehicles parked inside the compound of the Mabilog family.
