Senator Antonio Trillanes made headlines anew because of his latest expose about he alleged P2.2 billion bank deposits of Pres. Rody Duterte. The latest expose of Sen. Trillanes during a press conference drew some flak on Facebook as thousands of Pro-Duterte supporters reacted negatively on his expose.
During a press conference held today, February 16, Sen. Trillanes showed an 18-page document and furnished the media. Trillanes also exposed to the media that aside from the P2.2 billion bank deposits of Pres. Duterte, the common-law wife of the President had a total of P187 million bank transactions from July 2005 to March 2016.

Last April 2016 during the campaign period, Sen. Trillanes also disclosed that the former Mayor of Davao Chity had a total of P2.2 billion bank deposits in various banks from 2006 to 2015. Those bank deposits were never proven to exist, Pres. Duterte even challenge the AMLAC to release his bank records to belie Trillanes claims.
Netizens reacted on social media on the latest accusations by the Senator that Pres. Rody Duterte is corrupt and has billions on his bank accounts. According to some Pro-Duterte supporters, Sen. Trillanes is just making some awareness campaign in preparation for their planned ouster of Pres. Duterte by using the EDSA 1 Anniversary this coming February 25.
