$20 Billion International Airport & Seaport Soon to Rise in Cavite

The Philippines could become the Gateway to Asia and poised to rival Singapore after a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) featuring a $20 billion new airport and seaport project was signed by the Chinese and Philippine government. The Chinese investment in the Global Gateway Project under the Duterte administration will be constructed in Sangley Point in Cavite.

The strategic position of the Philippines in Asia is indeed benificial with the highly anticipated mega-project infrastructure project between the Philippines and the Duterte administration. The MoU was already signed by All Asia Resource and Reclamation Corporation (ARCC) and China Communication Construction Company Dredging (Group) Company Limited.

The contract between the Chinese and Filipino and the Chinese company is one of the contracts signed during the first ever state visit of Pres. Rody Duterte in China last week.

The New State-of-the-Art Airport in Sangley, Cavite
According to the Philippine company, ARCC who proposed the Philippine Global Gateway project which will be constructed in Sanley, Cavite will initiallly recieve P15 billion of initial investment from their Chinese counterpart to start processing the project.

The state of the art design which will be constructed in the heart of Asia is designed with two separate runways and have roads linked to C5. The international seaport will be located near the airport and near an Economic Industrial Zone in the province of Cavite.

 A parcel of the reclaimed zone will be for expansion projects. The Philippine Global Gateway Project International Airport Hub will be constructed to compete against the rising demands of business projects in the Asian market.
