Netizen Slams "Silent No More" FB Page for Spreading Fake Footage of Resorts World Attack


The Facebook Page, Silent No More is considered as one of the most popular Pro-Liberal Party FB Page and a known critic of Pres. Rody Duterte got a dose of their own medicines as netizens slams the FB Page for spreading lies and fake footage of the alleged Resorts World attack in Pasay City.


Silent No More posted a screen-captured photo of alleged gunmen which is contrary to the reports that a lone gunman attacked Resorts World.

The FB Page also added the following statement in the viral photo which was already taken down by Silent No More: "Dear Fellow Filipinos, we got this CCTV grab from a Resorts World employee. It shows more than one gunman. Is there a government cover-up? #TanimTerorista #SilentNoMorePH"

The fake post of Silent No More spreads like wildfire on social media particularly among the circles of Dilawan but one of the netizen, popular social media personality Sass Rogando Sasot uncovers the truth about the controversial photo of Silent No More.


According to Sass Sasot, the footage posted by Silent No More is from an armed heist in Savannah Casino last December 28, 2011. The concerned netizen even posted the source and the original video content of the incident which can be seen below.

Silent No More, one of the Liberal Party-aligned FB Pages, claimed that it got a CCTV screenshot of the Resorts World attack from an "employee". Silent No More said that there were actually two gunmen, as per the CCTV footage they got.

Truth is: that footage is from an armed heist in Savannah Casino on 28 December 2011. Here's the You Tube video:
