Miriam's Sister Questions Sen. Hontiveros Defense of PhilHealth Bonus Being Release in 2013

Former PhilHealth Board Member and now lawmaker, Sen. Risa Hontiveros defended herself from bashers when Thinking Pinoy made a request of the controversial PhilHealth bonus during the year 2014-2016. The senator stated that the alleged bonuses were made during the year 2013 and not during her term.

As a response to Thinking Pinoy and the sister of Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Atty. Paula Knack, Sen. Hontiveros released an official statement on her Facebook page stating that the bonus in question was during the year 2013 and not during the year in question 2014-2016.

Here's the response of Sen. Hontiveros to the PhilHealth Controversy:

I was appointed to PhilHealth in 2014-15. The bonus in question was in 2013. 

It's an impossible feat unless I know how to time travel! Hehe. #fakezone

Despite the explanations of Sen. Risa Hontiveros which put people to believe that she is on the defensive side, the sister of Sen. Miriam asked further about the sources of Hontiveros funds during the campaign period as PhilHealth allegedly paid around P440,000 per showing of her TV ads.

1. How could you mark an FOI request regarding a govt. health insurance company as MALICIOUS when it is a right under the law ?!

2. You did not answer the question - when was the bonus declared and when was it released !

3. Bakit naka-charge posters and TV ads mo sa Philhealth na halos ma-bankrupt na at ang TV ad mo P440,000 per showing in all major networks !
