Sen. Manny Pacquiao Showcases His Brilliance by Explaining the Meaning of a Search Warrant


Filipino boxing icon Sen. Manny Pacquiao, considered as one of the most popular personality in the country but most often under-rated by some political analysts. During the senate hearing on the controversial death of the late Mayor Espinosa, Sen. Pacquiao lambasts the CIDG who testified before the Senate.


Sen. Pacquiao asked Police Chief Inspector Leo Laraga if he really understand the real meaning of the search warrant, in which the CIDG officer agreed but the boxing icon have something to share that caught the attentions of his fellow politicians.

According to Manny Pacquiao, based on his understanding on the meaning of search warrant, in the case of detained Mayor Espinosa, there is no need to apply for a search warrant because he don't have the privacy and already inside a government property, the Baybay sub-provincial jail.

The fighting senator from Sarangani problem was so strong on his statement that Mayor Espinosa don't have the right to privacy because he was already detained, so there's no need for search warrant and asked the CIDG why they proceed with their operations if they really understand the meaning of a search warrant.
