Sen. De Lima to Hold DOJ Sec. Aguirre Accountable for Allegedly Fabricating Evidence Against Her


Former Justice Secretary during the Aquino administration, Sen. Leila De Lima made a statement during an interview with the media that one day she would one day hold Justice Sec. Aguirre and her other accusers answerable for allegedly fabricating evidence against her.


Sen. De Lima stated that all the evidences thrown at her that would link the senator to the illegal drug trade in the Philippines were all fabricated.

Aside from airing her concern with the alleged attacked against the senator, the former DOJ Secretary also aired concerns that her phones had been tapped.

Sen. Leila De Lima who was accused by President Rody Duterte as the head of the alleged drug matrix inside the national penitentiary confronted the DOJ Secretary and the Philippine National Police that would link the senator to the rampant illegal drug trade in the country.

Some bias news outlet reported that Sen. De Lima's investigation of extrajudicial killings angered the administration of Pres. Duterte but the reality is that there's a lot of evidence pinpointing Sen. De Lima as one of the few government officials who had links with the rampant problems in the country today.

Pres. Duterte ealier revealed to the media that the senator is linked to the illegal drug trades inside the Bilibid Prison while serving as head of the Department of Justice. The president also linked De Lima's formr driver, Ronnie Dayan, whom the president described as De Lima's lover also, collected payoffs for her from convicted drug lords although they were held at NBP in Muntinlupa City.

Sen. De Lima also appeal to Sec. Aguirre and the NBI, she was quoted as saying "My appeal to Secretary Aguirre and the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) is to not allow [themselves] to be used. I know you are decent officials. Do not be a party to perjury or the subornation of perjury,” De Lima said

The Liberal Party senator added further that "They know that knowingly coming out with fabricated evidence or false testimony is a crime, a subornation of perjury,” she said.
