Davao City Bombing Hits Roxas Night Market (Photos of the Terrorist Attack)


Police authorities in Davao City confirmed that the Davao City Bombing that hits the Roxas Night Market caused the death of at least 14 people and dozens were injured who were brought to the hospital.


Initial reports stated that 60 people were wounded and brought to various nearby hospitals along the vicinity of the bombing.

Davao City Police reported that the incident took place at around 10:20 PM local time at a street market outside the high-end Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City. The Roxas Night Market is also located near one of Davao's most prominent educational institution, the Ateneo de Davao.

Some witnesses confirmed on various reports that they heard loud bangs and smoke billowed across the city, considered as one of the safest in the world according to Numbeo.com.

The terrorist group Abu Sayyaf which has linked with the international terrorist group ISIS confirmed that members of the group initiated the Davao City Bombing.
