Veteran Soldier Reveals the Reasons Why ISIS Could Not Conquer the Philippines

Veteran soldier and a former member of the elite Philippine Army Scout Ranger, Sir Abe Purugganan revealed the main reasons why the international terrorist group ISIS could not conquer the Philippines although they were allegedly supported by some Philippine Liberals who conspired with the terrorists.

According to Sir Abe, he is confident that we as Filipino people can overcome this threat from the US and Philippine Liberals who are conspiring and plotting to destabilize our country through the international terror group ISIS.

The former intelligence officer of the AFP explained that the Philippines is much different from Syria or Iraq and we have a lot of strength that will help us protect our nation. Despite our lack of modern weaponry and technologies to help us but he cited some of our advantages.

One of the reasons why it is difficult for ISIS to conquer the Philippines is due to our geographic location, we are archipelagic with no land border crossing making it more complicated for an army of foreign terrorists to enter our country similar to what the ISIS did in Syria and Iraq.

The veteran soldier also shared an article written by William Engdahl of 21stCenturyWire.com.

Here's the Complete Statement of Sir Abe Purugganan:

So be it. I am confident that we can overcome this threat from the US and PH liberals who are conspiring and plotting to destabilize our country thru the ISIS.

Our country is much different from Syria or Iraq. We have a lot of strength that will help us protect our nation. We may not have modern weaponry and technologies to help us but the following will surely be an advantage. To cite some:

1- Our geographic location. We are archipelagic with no land border crossing making it more complicated for an army of foreign terrorists to enter our country similar to what the ISIS did in Syria and Iraq.

We are nation of many islands with different land mass configuration and terrain that will allow us to isolate potential conflict areas. We have smaller land mass and are tropical in nature unlike the large expanse of desert and barren lands in Syria and Iraq which require a superior combat power to cover and overcome ISIS intrusions.

2 - We have more trained and experienced armed forces. They are seasoned fighters. Our counter insurgency program have helped them gain experience and familiar with different combat situations.

Our soldiers do not run away from a fight. Filipino soldiers are known for their bravery. WW2 and the Korean wars have attested their gallantry. The gallantry of our soldiers in the Marawi siege is another testimony. We can trust their fighting capability even in the absence of modern warfare technologies and weaponry.

3. We are predominantly a Christian nation. And Christians will rise up to defend our country like in the seventies. There is a pratriotic fervor in every peace loving and God fearing Filipinos who by the grace and strength of God will stand and fight in the event of conflict.

4- We have a strong and determined leader to guide us.

5- We have the ASEAN and new allies to help us.
