Sen. Trillanes Claims He Received Positive Feedback from Netizens for His BBC HARDtalk Interview


The arch-enemy of Pres. Rody Dutert, Sen. Antonio Trillanes claimed on his latest post that his controversial BBC HARDtalk interview got positive feedbacks from netizens. The senator through a press release posted some of the positive comments he received from his fans on Facebook.


According to Sen. Trillanes he believed that he gained positive feedback from netizens who watched his exclusive interview with BBC which is contrary to the claims made by most DDS supporters and even some mainstream media news anchors.

In order to prove that the senator got some positive feedback online, the official Facebook Page of Trillanes posted the whole video of his interview with world-renowned international TV host Stephen Sackur of BBC.


The camp of Trillanes showed several evidence of positive reactions from netizens that were taken from the comment section of his social media page but they never explained why they keeps on deleting negative reactions to the video which was posted by some DDS netizens.

Here's Some of the Comments That Sen. Trillanes Claimed as Positive Feedback:

In a comment after the official Facebook page of Trillanes posted the complete interview, netizen Marla R. noted that she watched the full video interview since she saw Duterte supporters celebrating and sharing links and spliced videos that Trillanes was rebuffed by the program host. “But contrary to their claims, Trillanes answered properly the questions.”

Another netizen named Christopher Q. added: “I don’t see Trillanes being embarrased. All important issues thrown at him were answered. Giving counter-arguments is not embarrasing at all. Pity the people who think otherwise.”

Expressing her admiration, netizen Joy. L said: “Salute you Sen.trillanes for a good (interview). Well done you answered all the questions BRAVELY without any hesitation.”

“Well-said Senator Trillanes! Your answers are factual based on truth! We uphold your courage and unwaivering stand for truth, justice, freedom and democracy!” another netizen named Yang R. said.

According to to the explanations of Trillanes camp, they believed that most of the people saw only the spliced version of his interview that's why it gained negative comments from the some netizens.

The statement of Trillanes camps is contrary to what most people saw, because even before the senator uploaded the video on his FB page, several social media pages already witness the interview one of the first YouTube Channel GoodNewsPilipinas, who uploaded the video gained mostly negative reactions from netizens.
