International Lawyer Says Acts of Trillanes & Alejano at the ICC Are No Longer Legal

The Hague lawyer and veteran international law expert Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack, the sister of Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago lambasts the acts of Sen. Antonio Trillanes and Rep. Gary Alejano in trying for trying to allegedly overthrow the administration of Pres. Rody Duterte by filing a case at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

According to Atty. Knack if her sister the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago was alive, she would have placed Trillanes and Alejano behind bars. She also stated that no government is powerful in its territory.

The veteran lawyer also posted a phot with the following text: "they cannot be judged in isolation from their and the yellow's multiple, continuous, systematic and insolent attempts to oust a sitting of head of state, especially during the terrorist attack. It is time government exercises its powers."

Here's the statement of Paula Knack on Facebook:

VIRAL !! ..........Take note ..... if Sen. Miriam was alive, she would have placed them behind bars. Government is POWERFUL IN ITS TERRITORY. NO ONE should take the powers of the head of state lightly. NO ONE.

Atty. Knack also shared a photo from concerned netizen Sentiche Garcia Remotin, stating that Trillanes urges his cohorts to continue spreaing plights in the Philippines, while he was working to oust the President.

Thank you ulit

Japoy Amle: I wonder if we have such law na pwedeng ibato sa mga bwesit nato. Negligence to their duties. Creating destabilization in the country. Malversation, etc. Ang bagal ni Aguirre. Di ko alam kung kumikilos pa ba sya.
