House Owners Where the P75-Million Cash & Checks Recovered in Marawi City Revealed


Government forces and authorities revealed the names of the house owners where the controversial P75-million cash and checks discovered by the Philippine Marine Marines which was abandoned by Maute during the clearing operations in Marawi City.


During the clearing operations of the Philippine Marines in Barangay Mapandi, Marawi City, they recovered some cash inside an abandoned house once used by Maute during the siege. P52-million worth of bundled cash was discovered alongside P200,000 worth of money inside an envelope and checks worth P23.7 million together with an M16 rifle.

The authorities revealed that the house was owned by couple Mariam Kouzbary Batara y Dimaocor and Rollie Dimatingkal Dimaocor, who were killed during the year 2011.

Aside from the house owned by the Dimaocor family, the authorities revealed that Mariam Dimaocor owned the company GM ROL-MAR Construction & Development.


One of the children of Dimaocor Family, who is an engineer is connected with the company that has contracts with the Department of Public Works and Highways.

The controversial resident of the Dimaocor family is the same house where the sniper of the Maute Group positioned during the Marawi siege. The sniper was responsible for the death of a Scout Ranger from the Philippine Army.

Authorities also discovered some important information inside the house including birth and death certificates, NBI and Barangay clearance, ID's, business letters and receipts.

The Philippine government is currently investigating the recovered checks to discover the real owners of the checks and other documents confiscated from the resident of Dimaocor family.
