The President of the Republic of the Philippines who dreams of making the country as one of the world's fastest growing economy in terms of infrastructure spending approved a total of seven (7) infra projects close to P270 billion as confirmed by the country's economic chief.
According to National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia, the seven projects of the Duterte administration were approved during their second meeting in Malacañang on Monday, November 14, 2016.
Aside from the go-signal from the Philippine President, the NEDA Board also approved the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) Guidelines on processing China-assisted projects.
Two of the most notable major projects approved by Pres. Duterte is the construction of the New Cebu International Port in Cebu City and the North-South Railway Project-South Line in Metro Manila.
