Pres. Duterte Confirmed on Al Jazeera that Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin is His Idol


The tough-talking President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte confirmed during an interview with one of the leading news agency in the world, Al Jazeera that Russian President Vladimir Putin is his idol.



In a video preview posted by Al Jazeera on their official Facebook Page, they showcased how the Philippine President answered intriguing questions about world politics.

According to Al Jazeera in the video interview tackling the topics of "American Politics with Rodrigo Duterte," veteran TV host Steve Chao showed Pres. Duterte a series of cards and asked him to reveal what comes first on his mind.

The TV host showed Hillary Clinton and the President stated that she'll make a good President. He was also showed Donald Trump and answered he is a good candidate followed by the word America which he described as "having my doubts" but when Vladimir Putin was shown to him, he admitted that the Russian President is his idol.

According to Pres. Duterte, the Russian President Vladimir Putin is his idol because he has no illusions about himself. He know he was not trained for politics, nor to be a statesman, he acts just like a President.
