DOJ Prosecutor Asks Sen. De Lima Not to Use Women to Excuse Herself of Her Weakness

A concerned netizen who was identified as Darwin Cañete, a Department of Justice prosecutor made an interesting comment on social media calling Sen. De Lima not to use women to excuse herself from her own stupidity and weakness.

Sen. Leila De Lima, one of the primary critics of Pres. Duterte's war on drugs particularly the alleged EJK admitted earlier in a TV interview that she was indeed having a relationship with driver and bodyguard Ronnie Dayan.

The lawmaker explained that her relationship with Dayan was caused by her caving in to the "frailties of a woman."

Darwin Cañete on his part posted a message on Facebook that says: "Leila, yung libog mo, sa iyo lang iyon. Idadamay mo pa ang kababaihan sa kalokohan mo. "Kahinaan" ng mga babae kamo? Madami akong babaeng kilala at nirerespeto na hindi nagpakita ng katangahan," he wrote on Facebook.

The DOJ Prosecutor added further that "You own up to your weakness. Don't blame your gender.. in the words of my feminist friend.. you need to "woman-up." he added.

The concerned netizen also explained further that the senator's excuse is an insult to women's capacity to be strong and show good judgment.

Although Sen. De Lima admitted her affair with boyfriend and bodyguard Ronnie Dayan, but the senator vehemently denied the allegations against her and Dayan's involvement with narcopolitics.
