VP Leni Robredo Worries Once EU & US Withdraw Their Aid to the Philippines


Various international aid agencies showed their full support behind the anti-poverty program of Liberal Party top-honcho and Vice President of the Republic of the Philipines. They are scheduled to join a scheduled summit for next week where they will partner with the country's poorest local government units.



In an interview with Vice President Leni Robredo he worries about the recent statements of Pres. Rody Duterte who continued his tirades against the European Union, United Nations and the USA.

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo was quoted as saying "Marami tayong pangangailangan na hindi natin kaya by ourselves umaasa tayo sa tulong ng iba. In fact marami kaming mga programa na nakaasa talaga sa tulong ng international community." VP Robredo said.

President Duterte released a message the European Union and the United States of America after he heared about how his recent pronouncements may affect the flow of international aid to the Philippines.

Pres. Duterte was quoted as saying "If you think it's high time for you guys to withdraw your assistance, go ahead. We will not beg for it."
