President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is indeed a man of his word as he showed his humbleness by greeting one of his most vocal critics, former DOJ Secretary and newly-elected Senator Leila de Lima.

Netizens were shocked with the reactions and gestures of President Duterte when he finally meet face to face with Sen. De Lima who keeps on attacking him even before his election as Philippine president.

The gestures of greetings by President Duterte to Sen. Leila de Lima proved once and for all that the first and only President from Mindanao did not hold any grudges against his political enemies.

The video of Pres. Rody Duterte and Sen. De Lima shaking hands with each other were lauded by most netizens online with one of them even commented that the gesture of the President is worth emulating.

One of the netizen even commented that "He is really a humble man, he is not showing any hatred to his political enemies, not like the past administration who are busy pursuing all their political enemies," a netizen stated.

President Duterte's shaking hands with Sen. De Lima also proved that the President really "walk the talk" when he started his SONA with the statement that he will not waste his time on blaming anyone particularly the past administrations.
