The highly anticipated inauguration of President-elect Rody Duterte will not be shown on national TV unless they will hook up with the video provided by the state media PTV-4 and RTVM. If you cannot witness the inauguration and you have Facebook, worry no more because Facebook Live is here to stream the inauguration event.



According to veteran broadcast personality Martin Andanar, the incoming chief of Presidential Communications Office's (PCOO), revealed that he is in talk with Facebook officials for a possible live streaming of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte's inauguration this coming June 30, 2016.

Martin Andanar noted during an interview with ANC that Facebook executives will come to the Philippines to discuss Mayor Duterte's inauguration. He was quoted as saying "I'm meeting with the guys from Facebook. They are flying over and they are offering, they are proposing to stream the entire event, the entire inaugural," Andanar said.

The veteran TV-5 anchor and host Martin Andanar noted that Duterte gained much of his media coverage from his supporters on the social networking site, Facebook as he dominated the conversation even before he decided to run for President until the campaign and election period.

Andanar is also eyeing to stream live videos of presidential briefings on Facebook.
