Mayor Duterte Revealed Publicly his BPI Bank Statement During Daet Rally


The tough-talking Mayor of Davao City and considered by many Filipinos as the next president of the Philippines, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte revealed publicly his Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) bank statement during a political rally held in Daet, Camarines, Norte.


Mayor Duterte proved once and for all that he is indeed an honest by providing a concrete and valid details of his bank accounts and proved that the allegations of Sen. Trillanes are not true.

The 71-year-old Mayor Rody Duterte showed to the public his latest BPI bank statement of account showing that the mayor has P17,666.98 in his bank account covering the month of December 31, 2015 up to March 31, 2016.

The latest amount in the BPI bank statement of Mayor Duterte also stated that the mayor has P27,049.09, which is contrary to the claimed made by Sen. Trillanes on national media that the mayor has more than P211 million in bank deposits.

TV5 Reporter Jun Loyola also posted on his official Twitter account the original bank copy of Mayor Duterte's statement of account from BPI.



The bank involved in the controversy started by Sen. Trillanes, BPI also released to the media an official statement with regards to the controversy.
