Miss Angela Lauren D. Fernando wears the official No. 3 sash of the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant, Binibining Pilipinas. She is a Filipino model and a beauty pageant title holder even before joining the Bb. Pilipinas 2016.
The 25-year-old Angela Lauren Fernando already won various titles during her college days at the University of Santo Tomas, she won the Miss UST Medical Technology and the Miss UST Pharmacy 2007. She was also crowned Miss Thomasian Personality during the year 2008.
Angela Fernando participated and won in the prestigious Miss Philippines Earth (MPE) beauty pageant and was crowned Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2010. After winning the title, she fulfills her duty as one of the spokespersons of Miss Earth Foundation, the environmental-social-humanitarian outreach arms of Miss Earth beauty pageant.
During the Miss Philippines Earth 2010 competition, Angela Fernando was just 18 years old and stands at 5 feet and 5 inches tall with body measures of 33-24-34. She bested 48 other candidates and also won the Most Photogenic and Best in Cultural Costume Special awards. She represents Lubao, Pampanga in the 2010 Miss Philippines Earth.
Angela Fernando is set to compete in the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 pageant wherein she is set to vie for the 7 crowns at stake, including the Miss Universe Philippines 2016 title.
