Wire-Free Davao City: This is Where the Taxes of Davao City Residents Go

Another solid proof that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who is now running for President of the Philippines, has the political will to lead his people. During the administration of Mayor Duterte, the city of Davao aimed to become the first wire-free city in the country.

Davao City's further bid to become a world-class status, the underground cable project was implemented by the administration of Mayor Rody Duterte. The multi-million underground utility cable system is now going full swing.

Under the wire-free Davao City project of Mayor Duterte, all utility cables and wires for telecommunications, electricity and other other lines hanging in posts and dangling all around the city will be buried underground, and will be hidden from plain sight.

According to the city government of Davao City, the project is presently being undertaken only within the vicinity of the Davao City Hall, which serves as a mere pilot area, but it will eventually be spread all over the city.

So just like in the US,Canada and Saudi Arabia, all cables or wires hanging in wooden or cement posts will be a thing of the past and will never be an obstruction anymore.
