Pres. Aquino Blasts Mayor Rody Duterte During Manila's Local Campaign Rally

The chief-executive of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Benigno S. Aquino III blasts Mayor Rodrigo "Rody" Duterte during a campaign rally in the city of Manila. Pres. Aquino took the opportunity to speak out against the Davao City Mayor because of his plans for a better Philippines.

Pres. Aquino made an appearance during the proclamation rally of the Liberal Party's local candidates in Manila to campaign for the party's local bets as he made an appeal to the people of Manila to vote for his successor, former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas.

The Philippine President clearly attacked Mayor Rody Duterte during his speech as he noted that the country's most popular presidential candidate on social media, Mayor Duterte plans to resort to a "shortcut" if he wins the presidency.

Pres. Aquino cited the mayor's previous statement that his term would be "bloody," as he intends to order the killings of all criminals in the Philippines. The mayor also promised that within 3-6 months he will stop crime and corruption in the country which was deemed impossible to achieve by the present administration.

Aquino said.

Pres. Aquino also endorsed Alfredo Lim for mayor of Manila and Rep. Benjamin Asilo for vice mayor, they were both members of the ruling Liberal Party of the Philippines.
