Mark Lopez Slams Priest Who Urges Parishioners to Vote for Decent Candidate or Stop Attending Mass

Veteran radio host and prominent Duterte supporter Mark Lopez slammed a priest who tells parishioners to vote for decent candidate, otherwise, they better stop attending mass. 

During the past few days a netizen and self-proclaimed supporter of VP Leni Robredo who happens to be priest has earned his minutes of ame on social media for betting his priesthood in the upcoming 2022 national and local elections. 

The alleged priest according to Lopez is identified as Dyames Uy-Gascon who wrote that if his parishioners won't vote for a decent candidate, they might as well stop going to church and attend mass. 

Father Gascon took a swipe at parishioners through his official social media account. His parishioners should not act as lectors, who loves to quote the Bible and then, they are supporting the demon. 

The priest then asked, what kind of parishioners they are. The alleged priest ended the FB rant declaring his readiness to lose friends if that is the case. 

Due to the statement of the alleged priest, the radio host and blogger Mark Lopez can't help but write a brief but sharp rebuttal criticizing the said priest. 

Mark Lopez wrote the following:

Imagine this member of the Catholic clergy spewing venom and toxicity because of politics.

Ganito ang mga klase ng tao na supporter ni Madumb.

Kaya hindi talaga dadami eh.
