Fearless Netizen Lectures Atty. Tañada's Statement Re: Bikoy & WPP vs. De Lima, Robredo, & Trillanes
Losing senatorial bet Atty. Erin Tañada made headlines anew on social media after his controversial statement that says Bikoy isn't qualified for the Witness Protection Protection (WPP) of the government because he was convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude.
The statement of Atty. Erin was contrary to the previous pronouncement made by LP personalities including VP Leni Robredo, Sen. Lilia De Lima, and former Sen. Antonio Trillanes.
This was revealed on social media by international trade expert and prominent blogger MJ Quiambao Reyes who reminded the lawyer in case he forgot what Robredo, De Lima and Trillanes said when Bikoy first came out to expose the alleged involvement of the Duterte family with the Chinese illegal d**g syndicate.
VP Leni Robredo earlier said that Bikoy should be admitted to the witness protection program because he was an able whistle-blower.
Sen. De Lima on her part echoed VP Leni's statement that Bikoy can be considered as a whistle-blower, hence he needs to be protected while Trillanes praised Bikoy for the videos linking the Duterte family and noted that accusations were very serious, well-pointed and explained.
