Government Officials in Blind Item "Junket to Korea" Identified and Fired by Pres. Duterte


The government officials and presidential appointees involved in a controversial travel junket to South Korea which was exposed earlier in a blind items were identified and already fired by Pres. Rody Duterte.


DDS Blogger Mark Lopez breaks the news on social media as he revealed that word around the palace stated that Pres. Duterte has ordered the firing of seven (7) members of the Board of Trustees of Nayong Pilipino Foundation Inc., a Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC).

According to Lopez these 7 members were alleged to have engaged in an unauthorized junket in South Korea that is said to have been arranged and sponsored by an outside party that is bidding for a lucrative land deal. The said junket was said to be lavishly funded, and even a private plane was utilized to accommodate the 7 members.

The alleged members of the national government agency are now facing charges before the Office of the Ombudsman aside from their forthcoming dismissal from service.
