Pres. Duterte Accuses Reds, Yellows Now Allied to Oust Him

The tough-talking President of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte accused that the Reds or the communists, and the Yellows, or members of the Liberal Party, are now working together to oust him.

Pres. Duterte was quoted as saying "But what is really very clear is ‘yung Left pati––ang kaalyado ng Left is, ng mga Bayan is the… mga… ‘yung mga dilaw," Duterte told reporters in Malacañang.

"Gusto nila ako paalisin dito sa Malacañan. O ‘di bigyan mo akong panahon magbalot. Eh basta-basta na lang tayo… But, I will show to the Republic that we have a very serious problem with our government officials," he added.

During the press briefing of the President he was asked if Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales and Supreme Court Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno are behind a destabilization plot against.

The Chief Executive responded that in fairness to the ladies, they are just part of the concerted effort which the President cannot clearly state would be a part of the program of the Left.

Pres. Duterte also maintained that he would step down if his lifetime savings exceed P400 million amid the Office of the Ombudsman's probe into his personal wealth, and the wealth of his entire families.

The President also noted that ahead of the September 21 protest activities, he could not determine whether the left was joining the LP members or the LP members joining the left.
