In the article Silent No More mentioned that these seven senators allegedly refused to sign a petition that was introduced in the senate. The resolution is to call on the government to stop the killings of minors, and seek an investigation in order to determine if there are any "institutional reasons" that gave rise to the killings.

Sen. Sotto reacted with the said description of Silent No More on his personality. The senator in anger, said that he will file cybercrime cases against the people behind a "fake news" blog SilentNoMore.ph for publishing the "stupid and silly" article.

The veteran senator reiterated his statements also that he did not receive any resolutions as what Silent No More describe that Sotto "Did Not Sign" the resolution urging the government to stop the killings of minors.

Sen. Sotto was quoted as saying "Ang katangahan nila, hindi nakarating sa amin 'yan. Walang nagpapirma sa akin niyan kaya hindi pwedeng sabihin na I did not sign. Now, the offensive part is this, pagsunod niya iniisa isa kaming pito at ang sasama ng sinabi.
