Some of the projects implemented by the senator under his DAP funds is the construction of lamp posts which did not materialize and supposed to be visible right now in major thoroughfares in various provinces in the country despite the fact that the budget release was already signed.

Belgica did not divulge further the details of their complaint against Trillanes because they wanted the Department of Justice (DOJ) to take over with the investigation. The DOJ will be conducting an initial or preliminary investigation on the alleged ghost projects of Trillanes.

Sen. Trillanes is just one of those government officials closed to the Aquino administration who will be facing some cases for their alleged involvement in the controversial P2.6 billion discrepancy of the Aquino administration's DAP Funds.
