Alleged Narco-General Mayor Loot Invites PCI Jovie Espenido to Head Daan Bantayan Police


The alleged narco-general and now Mayor of Daan Bantayan in Cebu Province, Mayor Vicente Loot invited the famous narco-cop, Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido to head the Daan Bantayan Police Station and help the Mayor to clean up the drug problems in the municipality.


Despite the fact that the narco-general was included in the controversial list of Pres. Duterte, he took the courage to invite PCI Espenido who is now known in the country as the only Chief of Police who was able to capture or kill a total of six Municipal and City Mayors in the Philippines.

In an interview with some local media in Cebu, Mayor Vicente Loot took courageously invited PCI Espenido to help him on his campaign against illegal drugs in Daan Bantayan town.

Mayor Loot was quoted as saying "I would be glad to work with him. It would be good if he will be assigned in Daan Bantayan so he can help me. I know him as a person. He stands his ground. He is an upright man,” Loot said.




According to the former Police General, Mayor Loot he sent a text message to PCI Espenido in Ozamiz City but the well-known Police Chief did not reply to the invitation of Mayor Loot.

“Wala man siyay reply. Taas-taas ra ba to. (He did not reply. The text message I sent to him was long).”

PCI Jovie Espenido became controversial and popular in Pres. Rody Duterte's anti-drugs campaign after he led the capture of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. when he was assigned as Chief of Police in Albuera.

He was also responsible for the capture of Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog and the death of Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog who was killed during an operation spearheaded by Ozamiz City Police Chief Jovie Espenido.
