Complete List of CA Members Deciding Secretary Judy Taguiwalo's Fate as DSWD Secretary (Video)


The rejections of Secretary Judy Taguiwalo as head of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) made headlines today which resulted into online upheaval among the supporters of Taguiwalo who wanted to know the names of the CA who rejected the leftist member of Pres. Duterte's Cabinet.


During the announcement of Davao Oriental Rep. Joel Almario, who led the confirmation hearing he revealed that majority of the members of the Commission on Appointments (CA) voted against Judy Taguiwalo.

The social welfare chief and Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael Mariano, also nominee from the left, were bypassed in March but were reappointed to their positions the following month.


Due to the secret voting of the Commission on Appointments the names of those who voted in favor or against the confirmation of Sec. Taguiwalo will continue to remain secret but most netizens speculates on who among the 24-member CA panel rejected the DSWD Secretary.
