The former Mayor of Davao City and now President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte burns The Manila Standard senior reporter Christine F. Herrera who asks the President about the controversial nationwide Martial Law and the improvement of the economy.



During the press conference after the second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Pres. Rody Duterte he burns down the veteran journalist of The Manila Standard for asking a controversial questions which the President responded brilliantly.

The veteran journalist Christine Herrera asked "No nationwide Martial Law Mr. President?" Pres. Duterte responded by saying "No nationwide Martial Law. Why? because I will look stupid before the eyes of the public if I do that and I am not ready to be called stupid.

Herrera also asked the President a tricky question by asking "You seem to have forgotten how to improve the economy next year... and this year.

Pres. Rody Duterte responded by stating "Ma'am, it is improving, it is you who are not reading."
