Photos of ISIS Militants Occupying Marawi City Went Viral on Social Media


Photos of ISIS militants or their counterpart in the Philippines, the Maute Group occupying Marawi City is now spreading like wildfire on social media as netizens shared some evidences online showing how the militants occupied some territories in Mindanao.


A certain Chico Dimaro Usman posted some photos and evidence on social media that the militant groups ISIS already occupied some part of Marawi City.

Based upon the photo evidence shared by Usman, one of the police mobile of the Philippine National Polie (PNP) was captured by ISIS as they waved their black flag in front of the Mahindra Enforcer police mobile.

According to Usman, most of the main roads and intersections in Marawi City are now occupied by ISIS and the residents could not moved out from their respective residence.


Although the militant group uses the ISIS flag, some netizens suggested that the group who attacked and occupied some parts of Marawi City were members of the Maute Group who just want to be recognized by ISIS.
