Must Watch: Rep. Alejano Admits No Personal Knowledge on Impeachment Complaint Against Pres. Duterte


Magdalo Party List Rep. Gary Alejano admitted that he has no personal knowledge on the conent of his complaint during the deliberations of the impeachment case filed against Pres. Duterte. The admission of Rep. Alejano came after he was questioned by some House leaders.


The House of Representatives started the deliberations on Monday, May 15, on the impeachment complaint filed against Pres. Duterte by Rep. Gary Alejano.

During the hearing Rep. Alejeano admitted that he had no personal knowledge as to the material allegations on his complaint when he was pressed with brilliant questions by House Majority leader Ilocos Norte Rep. Rodolfo Farinas.

According to Rep. Alejano, he just perused newspaper reports and other testimonies against Duterte which he believed to be true. Some of the testimonies of Rep. Alejano were taken from the testimonies of alleged hitman Edgar Matobato.


House Majority leader Rep. Rodolfo Farinas also asked Rep. Alejano if he has "personal knowledge" on this claim that there were more or less 8,000 individuals killed in the President's war on drugs.

Rep. Alejano was also questioned if he has "personal knowledge" on his claim that there were 1,424 individuals killed allegedly by the President starting 1998 to 2015.
