How Pres. Duterte Handles Marawi Attack Compared to PNOy's Handling of Zamboaga Siege

Concerned netizen and avid supporter of Pres. Rody Duterte, Mark Lopez shared the difference between Pres. Rody Duterte and former Pres. Aquino on the way they handles the attack in one of Mindanao's city.

According to Mark Lopez during Pres. PNoy's time, in the Zamboang siege of 2013 which lasted for 3 weeks, it took 5 DAYS for BS Aquino III to react and personally "head the ops." When compared to Pres. Duterte, it took just a few hours after a briefing with security officials that Pres. Duterte headed the operations although he was on official state visit to Russia.

Pres. Duterte decisively cut short a very historic state visit to superpower Russia, there is also a cruel joke currently spreading on social media "Well, BS Aquino did not declare Martial Law in Zamboanga. In fact, he did not do anything at all."

Pres. Duterte took over the command of the Armed Forces as commander-in-chief in less than 24 hours and doing it while travelling half way around the globe.

Aside from being the commander-in-chief, the Duterte administration declared Martial Law in the island of Mindanao while the DSWD confirmed that they are now in position to help the displaced victims of the Marawi attack.

Here's the Complete Statement of Mark Lopez:

In the Zamboanga siege of 2013 which lasted for 3 weeks, it took 5 DAYS for BS Aquino III to react and personally "head the ops." And his bumbling act in tandem with Mar Roxas made things worse than resolving it efficiently.

As the cruel joke says, "Well, BS Aquino did not declare Martial Law in Zamboanga. In fact, he did not do anything at all."

In contrast, President Duterte decisively cut short a very historic state visit to superpower Russia. Even as he did this, he managed to have at least a full hour face-to-face meeting with Vladimir Putin, which added critical significance to the shortened trip.

After the Maute group went on a rampage in Marawi, Duts determinedly halted a state visit that has humungous strategic, diplomatic and economic importance to our country, and gave utmost priority to return immediately, turning himself from foremost diplomat to frontline commander.

And doing it while travelling half way around the globe.

In less than 24 hours!

Tell me, is it "Nasaan Ang Pangulo?" Or "Sino talaga ang tunay na Pangulo?"

But wait!

There's more...

In this Marawi crisis,

We have our DSWD secretary telling the Filipino people this:

"I have just finished meeting with DSWD staff and am now preparing my report to the President. The DSWD is ready to provide relief assistance to the people of Marawi and to assist the evacuees in coordination with DSWD ARMM. We will ensure that the people's well being, life and rights are upheld and protected."

On the other hand, we have a VP who immediately asked for donations so she can idiotically go to the frontline and be in front of the cameras once more!

Notice the enormous difference?

You all be the judge...
