Pulse Asia Survey Results: 82% of Metro Manila Residents Feel Safer Due to PNP's War on Drugs


One of the country's leading survey firm Pulse Asia released the results of a survey conducted in Metro Manila to determine how people really feels on Pres. Duterte's War on Illegal Drugs. Based on the survey results about 82 percent of people in Metro Manila feel safer because of the PNP's War on Illegal Drugs.


Based on the survey conducted by Pulse Asia Research Inc., the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) disclosed the Pres. Duterte's War on Drugs yields positive results.

Metro Manila data shows that since the war on illegal drugs was implemented on July 1, 2016 and its five months relentless implementation it gained 82 percent approval rating from the public based on the results of Pulse Asia survey question: "Compared to last year, I feel that it is less dangerous now in our place because of the campaign against illegal drugs."



Pulse Asia stated that the survey was conducted on December 6-11, 2016 in Metro Manila with randomly selected respondents from all walks of life.

According to NCRPO chief Police Director, Oscar A. Albayalde, he is inspired by the results of the survey and assured the public to continue the thrust of the NCRPO on crime prevention and suppression, war against illegal drugs and illegal gambling and Internal Cleansing Program.

The NCRPO chief also expressed gratitude to the public and further encourage them to continue their support and cooperation to all the NCRPO undertakings. He acknowledged the significance of the information sharing that lead to the arrest and neutralization of illegal drugs personalities.

Director Albayalde also assured that all the information, reports and complaints of public will be acted accordingly and promptly.
