Pres. Duterte's Cabinet to Discuss LeniLeaks on Cabinet Meeting Today

The controversial LeniLeaks documents or the ouster plot to remove Pres. Rody Duterte from office will be high on the agenda of the Cabinet meeting today. Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar who earlier made an interview with Sass and Thinking Pinoy said that the government intends to determine possible criminal charges against those involved.

Sec. Andanar noted that the Duterte administration wants to "get to the bottom" of the sinister plot against President Duterte after the controversial LeniLeaks documents spreads like wildfire on social media after Sass Rogando Sasot and Thinking Pinoy initiated the spread of the documents.

The PCO head Sec. Martin Andanar was quoted as saying in a radio interview that "We will talk in the Cabinet tomorrow (Monday). I will bring this up. (National Secrity Adviser) Secretary Jun Esperon will bring this up. And we will see kung ano iyong veracity nung reports na iyon," Andanar said.

Sec. Esperon is expected to conduct his own investigation into the Anti-Duterte plot reportedly being initiated by some Filipino-Americans to hold accountable those involved.

The NSA has the capability to investigate if this (LeniLeaks) can be considered a cybercrime; and they can verify the veracity of the document if it is true or not.

The statement of Sec. Martin Andanar came after the online leak of the alleged email exchanges of the group headed by Loida Nicolas-Lewis and her sister Mely Lewis went viral on social media.

The Yahoo Groups conversation features and online exchange of alleged plan to oust Pres. Duterte supposedly involved the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
