Sec. Michael Dino of OPAV Relocates 827 Yolanda Families Despite Lack of Budget


One of the reason why Sec. Leni Robredo of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) resigned was due to lack of budget but Sec. Michael Dino, the head of he Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) was able to relocate 827 Yolanda families facing the same problem.


Sec. Michael Dino who heads OPAV didn't fail what Pres. Duterte ordered to quickly give hundreds of houses to the beneficiaries victimized by super typhoon Yolanda 3 years ago.

In just 26 days after Pres. Duterte ordered the agency to relocate all the beneficiaries, OPAV was able to relocate hundreds of victims before Christmas.

More families are expected to be relocated to their new homes before the year ends complete with electrical connection and clean water supply.

According to Michael Dino in just 26 days after President Duterte mandated to relocate all the beneficiaries to their new homes. They had successfully relocated 827 Yolanda families (out of 911 raffled) to their new homes as of December 3, 2016.

OPAV also revealed a timeline of their accomplishments on their official Facebook Page despite having no office, zero budget and limited manpower.
