OPAV Reveals What's Inside the Newly-Built Yolanda Village (Photos)


The Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) Michael Dino showcased what's inside the newly-built Yolanda Village in Tacloban City after Pres. Duterte ordered to fast-track the construction.



The Presidential was tasked by Pres. Rody Duterte to oversee the constructions of the permanent housing units for Yolanda victims after the failure of the Aquino administration to finish the project for the past three years.

Vice President Leni Robredo was also slow on making some improvements of the project despite the fact the she was tasked by Pres. Duterte as the country's housing czar.



Presidential Assistant Michael Dino regularly visited the construction sites and announced through the official Facebook Page of his agency that the Chirstmas of the Yolanda survivors will become happier because of their newly built permanent resettlement area.

The Yolanda village where beneficiaries be transferred are already equipped with water and electricity.



The OPAV revealed that about 280 families would be relocated and assured that even if the village is not yet 100% completed, the families there is already safe to live.

Netizens were quick to commend the achievements of Presidential Assistant Michael Dino and the Office of the President for their fast action on the housing problem for the Yolanda survivors.
