Solicitor General Jose Calida Asks Sen. De Lima What She Did as DOJ Head (Must Watch)

The administration of Pres. Rody Duterte slowly but surely fulfilled his promise of eradicating corruptions and the drug menace in the country although some politicians wanted to divert the people's attention from solving the problem into making an issue of extra-judicial killings.

Pres. Duterte's trusted ally Solicitor General Jose Calida came to rescue and fired back at Sen. Leila De Lima, the current head of the Senate Inquiry on extra-judicial killings.

Solicitor Gen. Calida served as Justice Secretary during the term of Pres. Arroyo stated in an interview with the media that there is no need for investigation in aid of legislation. The solicitor general even asked what she did during her tenure as DOJ Secretary.

The solicitor general was quoted as saying "There is no need for investigation in aid of legislation kuno. Secretary de Lima, who was Secretary of Justice for 6 years... what happened during her tenure? Lalong lumakas and paglaganap ng droga even in her own territory, at the national pentitentiary." Calida stated.

Sec. Gen. Calida added further that "On the off chance that she's really true to stop this drug menace, let us ask her: what did she do as justice secretary in charge of the [National Bilibid Prison], the prosecution service, and the correctional?" Calida noted.
