Barangay Ginebra eyeing Zaccheus Mason as reinforcement in the Governor's Cup

After a disappointing campaign in the PLDT Home TVolution Commissioner’s Cup, Barangay Ginebra is now moving on and setting their eyes in the upcoming Governor's Cup.

Although they haven't settled for an import, a Spin.ph source revealed that the crowd-favorite team is currently negotiating with former Chattanooga Mocs starting forward Zaccheus Mason.
A known banger who is fresh from a stint in the US NCAA where he tallied 18.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3 blocks per game last season, Mason is at the top of a list of potential imports that Ginebra is looking at, the source added.
“Hindi pa final yan, kinakausap pa lang 'yan. Pero 'yan daw ang pinaka-gusto ng management,” said the Ginebra source.

Mason is listed at 6"6 in the US NCAA and is both a basketball and football player.

Mason will be a good import for Barangay Ginebra because he is not only good offensively, he is also a reliable defender.
The Kings begin their practiced last Monday as they try to bounce back after a disappointing exit at the quarterfinal stage of the last Commissioner's Cup.
