The kid-wonder and singing sensation from Bukidnon Province, Roel Manlangit was declared as the grand winner of the recently concluded Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Finals held on Sunday night, June 2, 2013.
The 13-year-old Roel Manlangit made a name for himself after he was tagged as “Boy Whitney” when his video rendition of Whitney Houston’s song got viral on YouTube garnering more than 2 million views.
Right now he made another achievement as he was declared as the ultimate winner of the Philippines prestigious talent search, the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4. He garnered 36% of the total number of votes beating Frankendal Fabroa, MP3 Band, Zilent Overload, D’ Intensity Breakers & Lateral Drift.
Roel Manlangit sung his own rendition of Bamboo’s original “Pinoy Ako,” during the grandfinals of the competition. His achievement continued the winning streak of singers dominating Pilipinas Got Talent.
